The mind draws maps. The heart is a compass. The will moves the feet.

Something keeps repeating — no matter what you do.

You already know where you want to go. Something in you just doesn't move. That's where this work begins.

    Begin with The Gap.

    Ingmar Nieuwold

You've done the work. You can name what matters. You can see where you're stuck. And still — something doesn't move.

You haven't failed to change. Something in you has been working very hard to stay safe.

Most approaches work with the mind — reframing, understanding, insight. These help. And then the same pattern returns. Because the pattern isn't held in thought. It's held in what we've learned not to feel. The mind is extraordinarily good at keeping that in place.

There is a stillness beneath all the thinking, achieving and managing. You've probably touched it — in music, in nature, in rare moments of complete presence. Then the calendar fills up again.

In this work, sound becomes the entry point into that space. Not as relaxation, not as therapy — as a way to access what you already know but haven't been able to live from yet.

"The heart is a two-way street. Close it to your pain and your joy also gets locked in."

    — Ingmar Nieuwold

"The deep seeing I have had during my intense spiritual search is sinking into the heart now. Ingmar is very skilful with the sword of truth and has helped me every step of the way."

"Life's journey can at times seem like being on a small boat far out at sea at the mercy of winds and waves from every direction. A single beam of light from a lighthouse at shore can lead you to safe harbour. Ingmar Nieuwold has the qualities of being a lighthouse for people in need, through his calm, positive, uplifting and wise approach to life's various challenges. I truly appreciated his guidance, vast knowledge and soundscapes. My life and my perception of life's challenges has changed so much to the better because of the beautiful journey we took together."

    The Gap.

The Gap is a free five-day entry. Each day, a short soundscape. Nothing to fix. Just something to notice.

"Through all the approaches I have attempted myself, some elements remained stored within my body. Ingmar helped my body to release much of whatever was still taking hold of me. Bravo and praise — amazing work."
